SNCC is the Spanish Network of Cultural Centres. It was founded in 2016 and it is envisaged as a virtual space where issues, affecting both private and public social centres in Spain, can be studied and discussed, it is also a place where experiences and solutions can be exchanged. Likewise, it enables access and channels of the international cooperation while acting as a bridge between Spain and the rest of the European Union.

SNCC and ENCC: European Network of Cultural Centres will actively collaborate to facilitate and foster the involvement of SNCC members at the European level and in ENCC activities.

Aid cultural centres in achieving their objectives, help them to get to know each other and collaborate at local, regional, national and international level. SNCC’s goal is to work as a voice of representation for all the affiliated cultural centres, developing a certain vantage point or attitude in regards to aspects that intervene in the management of arts and culture and their connection to society.

//To establish a forum where participants can practice networking and exchange knowledge, theoretical content, experiences, techniques and, management, methodological and procedural models.
//To boost the qualification of the professionals that work for cultural centres so they experiment, innovate and cooperate.
//To reflect on the possibilities that networking offers to cultural centres.
To explore collaboration models among cultural centres through the analysis of good practices in networking at local, regional, national and international level.
//To build bridges between Spanish cultural centres and other centres, and networks of European cultural centres.

Active citizen participation in cultural and artistic activities is a way of personal development and therefore, of society. In order to reach cultural equality, cultural centres offer the possibility of participating, acting as channels, favouring intercultural ways and promoting the democratization of cultural and artistic activities. Communication and interaction among cultural centres is therefore advisable to strengthen those values and place them at the service of citizenship.
